I have only started this wonderful hobby, but wanted
to ask about placing boxes.

We will be going on vacation in the Mount Shasta area
and have a few boxes we will hope to find. We have a
favorite place that we might like to plant a box, but
we would not be able to check on it - just thought to
plant it and hope others enjoy it.

Is this done or do you need to be able to maintain it
in the event it goes missing. The location we are
thinking of is definitely a hiking one.
